Augie Nieto, co-founder of LIFE FITNESS, walks daughter down the aisle

Not unlike the millions of health and fitness club members we serve on a daily basis, Augie Nieto set a goal and accomplished it.
Nieto, the co-founder of Life Fitness who has battled Lou Gehrig's disease for nearly 10 years, eyed July 5 as the day he would walk 20 feet. But this wasn't an ordinary 20 feet - it would be by the side of his daughter, Lindsay, down the aisle on her wedding day.
Nieto was used an aluminum scaffolding device to deliver his daughter to her now-husband. Quite a feat for someone who had lost the use of his arms and legs for the first three years after being diagnosed.
